· maintain day to day operations on the Avaya PBX
· proactively monitor the health of the Avaya PBX switches
· review status logs, diagnose errors, track history, and escalate to vendor
· perform trunk tests and analyze traffic daily
· troubleshoot user problems related dialing, routing, and ACD functions
· analyze workflows and design technical solutions related to ACD and call coverage
· Maintain and update the PBX operational run book with new procedures or firm practices related to the
provisioning, support, and deployment of telephony technology.
· Recommend tactics to resolve problems and recover service with minimal or no interruption to clients.
· Develop and implement methodologies for providing resilient and a high level of telephony service to the firm.
